My suggestion to anyone reading this, if you skip past everything else I've said, just note this. My only wish would be for this to have happened sooner, but getting to see it at all is pretty much a miracle on it's own. So, hearing a few of those for the first time live was a nice treat. They even pulled out a few charming covers and some Miracle Legion material. ![]() As far as I rememeber, they played all the songs off their sole album, plus new singles. I'm not sure whether they were pulled out of the fantasy world of Wellsville or I was pulled into it. ![]() Seeing Polaris in person was essentially a dream in which I was somehow awake. I've seen Mark play here before (along with some other great bands, including The Ghost Wolves), but this time was particularly special. Pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but that's part of what makes it great. Before I even get to Polaris, let me first say, Codfish Hollow is quite possibly the coolest venue on Earth. Her all-francophone recording “Seule ce soir” won a Juno and Felix Award in 2013 representing an unprecedented achievement in Canadian bilingualism.Įmilie-Claire has recently released a series of James Taylor covers (The JT Project) and is currently beginning work on a new album.Great show.
